DuraHold Plus is Made in the USA of synthetic felt and 100% natural rubber. Thermal-set ridges on the upper surface, in an exclusive pattern of chevrons, running in multiple directions, enables the pad to grip the rug more effectively and prevents lateral motion in any direction. DuraHold’s backing is made of a superior natural latex rubber formulation in a new, exclusive hexagonal “tire tread” pattern, puts more real rubber in actual contact with any bare floor, no matter how slippery, and provides the highest degree of non-slip traction.
100% synthetic, chemically inert padding contains no plant or animal fibers to decompose, outgas, or aggravate allergies. Easy to trim! Hypoallergenic, completely synthetic- no plant or animal fibers to aggravate allergies. Can be used on top of any hard surface, or on top wall to wall carpet if you lay felt side on the carpet and rubber side underneath the rug! Needle-Punched, solution dyed construction won’t shred. In addition, Durahold Rug Pads may come seemed with tape (this is the case with sizes over 12′ wide in particular). This will not affect the performance of the rug pad or will be seen. The rug pad I ordered was exactly what I was looking for. It was cut exactly to my specifications. I didn’t have to do anything other than roll it out and placed my rug on top! Best part is my rug no longer moves when I step on it.

Overall a fantastic rug pad. I had been looking all over for something that would truly work on my runner. Finding the size needed was even more difficult. Available to get this custom sized and not worry about cutting this down myself. This rug pad has a slight odor when you first receive it, but aired out after a few days. This is typical of any new product like a new car smell. The added cushion is also nice when you walk on it. No my runner does not shift and creep all over the floor, let alone tripping on it before this non-slip rug pad.

Fantastic rug underlay. I have used gorilla grip rug pads before and they disintegrate, leave mess on the floor and stop gripping after a while.
This pad is awesome!
Rough topside grips the rug so we’ll we could hardly move it to readjust it’s position.
Grip underside keeps it rock steady on our hardwood floors.
Plus, it’s quite plush, so our thinner rugs have gained some depth and softness. (Does not cause a raised edge, no trip hazards).

I don’t write too many reviews – but excellent customer service always warrants one. I had ordered an 8×11 pad, but when the item arrived it was an 8×10. I was immediately shipped a new rug pad at no additional cost and was informed I didn’t need to return the original. This is so very appreciated as I really didn’t want to figure out how to return an opened rug pad! This is the third one we’ve purchased for all the rugs in our house, don’t think we’ll ever buy another rug without having this pad under it!

I’ve used other rug pads on wood floors that claim the rug won’t move, but it does anyway. This pad secures the rug in place and creates a comfortable padding – great for sitting on with children. Not cheap, but worth it if you want to stop chasing your rug.

I have two large area rugs which, when installed, were given very thin rubber pads. With 2 Labs playing, the rugs were constantly being thrown back and then the pads were chewed up. The new pads keep the rugs from flipping over, and give a much more lush feel to the rugs. I’m very happy to have purchased the pads. They make my life a lot easier!
