These are perfect. don’t curl up on the edges, durable, look good, fit stairs. Dog runs up the middle and cat runs up on the side. works well to prevent slippage. we just used double-sided rug tape and they couldn’t be working better.

Works as advertised…the carpet tape works to hold them in place. They help to prevent our dog (12 y/o, 85 lb. Golden Retriever) go up and down the stairs without slipping and causing further aggravation to his arthritic joints. I would recommend them as an effective solution for an older dog with joint problems. I would give them a five star except I don’t think they are all that attractive (at least in our home decor) and have seen some fibers “shed” (so I don’t know how they will stand up to continuous wear). Good news is that the color/pattern will be pretty resistant to showing dirt and stains dragged in by messy Golden.
