Purity® Balsam natural area rug collection by Couristan, a refreshing assortment of eco-friendly natural wool wall-to-wall carpeting. Balsam features a hand-loomed pile with a subtle linear grid pattern. A versatile backdrop for today’s sophisticated ‘green’ décor. Meeting high standards in environmentally-conscious design, Balsam is designated as a Purity Select product and is constructed using natural materials. Providing the ultimate in durability and eco-friendly appeal, the cushy, soft loop pile is made with 100% pure wool, which is a renewable resource that is also biodegradable.
Available in a choice of five updated color combinations, including Dune, Steel, Fossil, Iron and Silver, Balsam adds a clean, balanced aesthetic that is complementary of a number of eco-chic fashions. Balsam contains no harsh chemicals and is considered a low VOC product which contributes to high indoor air quality. Balsam is stocked in a 15′ width which reduces installation seaming in rooms of most sizes. Each rug is bound. Edegs are swen with a coordinating fabric tape chosen by our craftsmen. Finally, rug pad prolongs the life of your carpets and rugs. Therefore, we recommend rug pad for all area rugs, runners and carpets. Custom cut on site. Made in the E.U.
